Cielo Tejido
EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN TOUR
Project Description:
Cobalt Connects is thrilled to be working with the incredible artists of Cielo Tejido on their exclusive Canadian tour of a new collaborative work.
Ceilo Tejido is a remarkable story of women driving a public art project that’s gone from a local project to a world-wide phenomenon and a Guinness World Record. With a team of over 200 women, Cielo Tejido crochets vibrant fibre art works that drape over city streets, adorn the stages of music festivals and are now coming on tour across Canada.
Cobalt Connects has brought it’s 20 years in public art to the table by creating a structure for their work enabling it to pop up in parks, down streets and alleyways, or virtually any public space you can imagine.
With PLACEMAKING and PUBLIC ART becoming a huge park of defining communities and creating unique interactions, Cobalt Connects wanted to make an affordable way for communities and smaller festivals to host internationally renowned public art projects.
