Hamilton Winterfest

Project Description:

Hamilton Winterfest has been celebrated in Hamilton since 1976. Started by an intrepid group of local volunteers, the program has traditionally been supported by City staff and a modest budget. In 2019, Cobalt Connects was selected to join the City as a co-producer of the festival with an interest in growing audiences and attracting more resources.

Over the past 3 years, the festival has seen more than a 200% increase in audience, new corporate and government support, and a significant increase in professional partnerships and media awareness.
